I made a mousepad of this image :D

I took my new camera (Fujifilm F80) on the local bike trail for nature photos, not expecting anything. The result is this. I can't stop looking at it!

Some things worked, some didn't. Basically I just let my hand go free and have the art unravel itself as I drew it.

It turns out there's an artist whose art style is very close to this.

I found this photo in an old CD of family pictures, and photoshopped it.

I made this as a birthday present for a friend. It's not an exact duplicate of the Star Trek chess set from the original series, but it's very close. The base is made out of wood and PVC pipes. The board is plexiglass, held to the pipes by epoxy. The slots for the movable spaces are pieces of pipe.

In design class, we sculpted plaster. The goal was to make something organic. What better than a turtle? Everyone likes turtles!
I made the sculpture, a friend made the clothes (but I'm sure she could have made the sculpture too. She's very talented in art).
